The new wool for Elisa Merino comes from Argentina and Uruguay. Mulesing is not practiced there, 100% of the time. Elisa Merino extrafine has a fiber thickness of only 19 microns, which makes it cuddly soft.
The new wool obtained in Argentina and Uruguay is brought to Northern Italy for further processing. In a small town between Turin and Milan, the merino wool is spun into fashionably dyed balls. The dyeing and processing is done under Ökotex 100 Product Class 1 Standard. This makes Elisa Merino perfect for baby and children's models.
