Yarns made of 100% Merino Wool and Blends

All our Merino wool yarns are soft, easy care, mulesing-free and Ökotex 100 certified.

Wool from Merino sheep is pleasantly soft and does not scratch, as Merino fibers are much finer than the fibers of conventional wool. At the same time, Merino wool is breathable and odorless.
The fineness of fibers is measured in Mikron. The lower the number, the finer the fiber.
Merino Extrafine refers to fibers that have a Mikron value of 19 to 20.
Merino wool with this level of fineness usually comes from sheep in South America or Australia.
Since mulesing-free, species-appropriate animal husbandry cannot be guaranteed for sheep in Australia, we only offer yarns with merino fibers from South America or Tasmanian merino wool from certified organic animal husbandry.

For each colour you can see how many balls are still in stock. These are always from the same lot.
