If you pay us by bank transfer or invoice for regular customers, you may have already noticed:

For some time now, we have been displaying a Girocode QR code in your order confirmation, in your order history in your customer account, and on your PDF invoice for these payment methods.

This is a very practical tool, as this QR code already contains all the necessary data, such as the recipient's name, IBAN, amount, and order number as the purpose of the transfer.
This means that it is no longer necessary to type in long IBANs; all you need to do is scan the QR code with your banking app on your smartphone.

Here is an example using George, the banking app from Erste Bank in Austria:

Under New Transfer, select Scan & Pay.

Select Scan QR Code and scan the QR code from your order confirmation or PDF invoice.

This will pre-fill all the necessary fields in the transfer with the correct data. You no longer need to type anything in; simply check the details and approve the transfer.

The same principle applies to the banking apps of all other banks.

Since bank transfers are now almost always posted in real time, the payment method of prepayment by bank transfer has become much faster and easier than before thanks to the practical QR code.
